The Community Day was all about recycling, the environment and what is happening in the 2 villages. Over 100 people came along on the day and looked at pictures, found out how to save money, help the environment, how to wash hands properly, make bird feeders from items they already had, ate cake, drank tea and watched the pet show. It was a good day and we would like to thank everyone who came along and had a stall, helped out, brought a pet or just came to enjoy it all. Special thanks to NWLDC for providing so much info, Coalville Historical Society, the Baptist and Methodist Church for bringing photographs, The Manor House for their display and Karen Webb for the children’s activities.
Making treats for the birds.
We held a pet show with all monies raised going to Lucy’s Bluebird Trust. Lucy is pictured below with her dog who won the ‘on the day entry’ of ‘NOISIEST PET’!!!
Pet the judge would most like to take home.
